My Village, 2018

I live in NYC, which always appears to be in a state of constant flux. I moved here in the early 80's to attend college, and could never leave, the pace is now the rhythm to my heartbeat. The following paintings were created in 2017 - 2018 in response to how I view my city currently. It is a feeling of great anxiety and apprehension, probably a common sentiment felt across our nation at this period of time.
