On Saturday, Sept. 26th (11 - 2pm) I will be teaching: Creating without Intention: Intuitive Painting Workshop

In this hands-on intuitive painting workshop, participants will engage with guided prompts, gentle warm-up exercises, and a variety of materials to explore the creative process without the need for a predetermined plan or final image. Open to everyone—from curious beginners to experienced artists—the workshop fosters creative exploration, personal growth, and a more enjoyable, relaxed approach to making art. Through individualized guidance, participants will be encouraged to move beyond familiar habits, let go of rigid expectations, and approach the creative process with curiosity and openness. Emphasizing process over outcome, the workshop provides a supportive environment for experimentation, self-discovery, and the exploration of new creative possibilities. As the work unfolds, participants are invited to trust the process, embrace uncertainty, and allow unexpected discoveries to inform and enrich their artistic expression.

Teaching Classes in my Dumbo Studio

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be offering Saturday classes at my DUMBO studio. I’ve always loved the idea of sharing what I know and, most importantly, my passion for the art and processes that continue to inspire me. My studio is an ideal setting for creating a space where others can explore, learn, and experiment. In these classes, I’ll be teaching Polaroid emulsion transfer, a unique photographic process in which the image emulsion is carefully separated from its original backing and transferred onto another surface. Manipulating the emulsion is a delicate and meticulous procedure, but once mastered, it opens up endless possibilities for creating something entirely new.

This is a process that has fascinated me for years, and I’m excited to finally share it with others. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or simply curious about alternative photographic techniques, I look forward to introducing you to this beautiful and unpredictable art form.
