I feel so lucky to live down the street from the famous Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. With it's Gothic entrance, the monk green parrots and the famous people buried within it's gates, it is truly a walk worth taking. I do it weekly, always in awe of new discoveries found there.
The life that sprouts from death add color to the vast pasture of grey headstones. Lakes appear in valleys, and honey bee hives are being introduced, to add life to a land dedicated to people of the past.
