I love the quietness, the mystery and the numerous discoveries found in this cemetery. I visit often, with camera slung around my neck, searching out the unseen.

Surfboard Paintings

I love the ocean but have never surfed. My focus has always been beneath the waves, snorkeling or scuba diving, creatures in full view. To sit atop a board, with legs dangling just below the water's surface, terrifies me. For I know what is beneath me, I have seen it.

But to feel the thrill of riding a wave and embrace the experience first hand is enticing. So for now I dream about it and paint smaller versions, waiting for the opportunity to come...
